    …learning new things has always excited me. back in january, 2007 (wow, pre-blog!), I made a list of 10 things I want to do each day, and #2 (just after #1 to tell marc, sara and katie I love you!) was “learn something new”. and from my journal on january 17 of that year, a lesson from sara on “synthetic division: dividing polynomials – something mom learned new today”.     …another forced day inside – I was excited to read kim klassen’s latest post about snow photos…and photoshop.     …I can’t remember how I found kim klassen’s website, but I’ve been following along for several weeks now and I’m just in love with what she can do to a photo. last weekend she posted these beautiful textures and I’ve been waiting for the right photo to use them. yesterday seemed to offer a good opportunity. it was cold, and we had snow flurries on and off all afternoon and into the evening.
