Sometimes Mondays.
… are for catching up. I certainly didn’t set out to skip a week here. Every day, I thought about it. and every day I gave myself permission not to. In the meantime, I finished a pair of socks and a baby sweater, started a new sweater, finished a fantastic book, kept watch over the amaryllis, treated myself to a manicure, and enjoyed a few delicious meals (with wine ♥). I also spent time reflecting on next steps, making lists, and just being. It was a wonderful break!
and it’s good to be back.
Here’s to a great week, my friends!

How nice to have a break – and glad you are back. Love your flower photos, we do not have any as of yet and I did search for snow drops on yesterday’s walk, they tend to be the first to arrive.

I know the feeling; sometimes you just need a break from blogging. But it sounds like you used your time wisely and creatively. It looks like spring in GA with all the flowers!

All work and no play makes (insert name here) a dull girl! Glad you had a colorful and productive time away – tho’ we missed you…
Cheers~

You were missed! Still…this looks and sounds like a wonderful time away.

It sounds very productive (in numerous ways), and look at all that flora!! Beautiful!

It sounds like you did a lot and that’s good for creating blog fodder, too!

You were missed, but it sounds/looks like we all understand the need to step back at times. Looks like you’ve had a great week (loving those Florida/Flamingo socks!!). Nothing blooming here (outside) yet, so your photos are very welcome! 3:20 p.m. and I’m ready to head home to a glass of wine (not quite yet…but I’m ready!!).

Just sometimes, that break inspires creativity and it looks like that is just what you found! I am eager to discuss your read with you! I have not wanted to depart from that very incredible place.

I’m getting ready for my Lenten break but I think I will keep blogging – just signing off Instagram and facebooks. I have a lent devotional and an idea for a tactile practice and of course Sarah Bessey’s great list of 40 days. I am looking forward lent this year.

I’d say you’re entitled to a week off if you want or need one! I’m glad it was a good one — you certainly got a lot of stuff done!

Always happy to see you back, but I’ve come to the conclusion that a blogging “schedule” just doesn’t work for my lifestyle right now. When there’s time, it happens, but many days are just too full. It’s good to take a break—and you were certainly productive! That’s a lot of beautiful knitting!
