Unraveled Wednesday | Monogamy.
Delighted to be joining in with Kat and friends today with an update on my knitting and reading. Today’s story is a bit unusual – for the past three days I’ve been monogamous to my knitting and my reading. It does make for progress!
I’m almost halfway through the body on the crew-neck side of Sayer.
I’ve been switching between the knitting (with a steady stream of podcasts playing on my phone)
and the reading. This is A Necessary Evil (the second in the Sam Wyndham series) and it’s just as good as the first.
I’ve also really been enjoying the porch!
…all that said, today is an Opera Wednesday (the last one of the season) and I’m now off to wind a skein of Arroyo so I’ll have something to knit in the theater (Sayer is easy enough, but two big balls of yarn isn’t really travel-friendly). I’m glad my mom needs another pair of socks! and I have two chapters of The Universal Christ to read for Friday morning.
Ha! so much for monogamy – Happy Wednesday!

i think Sayer is going to be THE perfect summer top. I can’t wait to see yours finished. Enjoy the opera today – which one is it?

The porch looks like a delightful place to knit, read, or do almost anything! Enjoy the opera sock knitting; your last Arroyo socks were beautiful and I bet these will be also!

Enjoy the opera; I understand it is brilliantly performed! The neat thing about being monogamous is you accomplish so much.
Cheers~

Your past three days sound just perfect to me — I’d love to fill my days with knitting and reading! Sayer looks like it’s coming along nicely and should look fantastic on you when it’s done. For what it’s worth, I think monogamy in knitting is overrated. I always need different types of projects for different days or situations.

Weather that encourages porch time is just the BEST!!!
Enjoy the opera.

The snapshot of your porch makes it very inviting. Hope you’re having fun at the opera!

Porch time aaaaahhhh…I believe that we may actually have porch time this coming weekend. If not, I’ll continue with my fireplace! I’m being incredibly monogamous myself right now. It’s not easy!

Enjoy the opera! And your sock knitting 🙂 Your Sawyer is going to be wonderful!
I have so tried to “get into” podcasts – but what I really need my listening to do is take me away…and so I continue to binge the audio books! 🙂

Your porch looks very inviting. Isn’t it nice to have some warmer weather? Enjoy all the things – the opera, the knitting, the reading, the porch, the . . . !
