Knitting

NaKniSweMo Begins.

Happy Friday, y’all!

Our house is feeling unusually male today – Marc’s nephew and his friend flew in yesterday for a golfing weekend. It’s been a while since we had a couple of twenty-somethings hanging out … and I think this is the first time Holly and I have been outnumbered. Marc is having a ball. …and honestly so am I. But I also enjoyed the quiet afternoon (they played 36 holes – left the house just after 8am and got home around 4:30) and started my NaKniSweMo sweater – Jaycee.

This one’s been on my list since Isabell released it. I think it’s going to be a great addition to my wardrobe, especially in my favorite (not)color Twill.

I know I can knit a fingering weight cardigan in a month, but it feels like I’m off to a slow start.

Good thing the guys are playing golf again tomorrow!

Have a great weekend!!

I like the color of the yarn and will enjoy seeing the sweater materialize…good that you’ll have almost a whole day of quiet to knit and read…what’s in your queue?

    Cheers~

That will be a beautiful sweater! I can’t imagine that a fingering weight sweater on 4s would go too quickly, so I bet you’re off to a fine start.

Do beware of TMT syndrome. I lived with three men when the boys were growing up and “too much testosterone” syndrome was evident fairly often. 🙂

Before long you’ll hit your stride and the sweater will be practically knitting itself! The style is one that can be worn at anytime and I think I’m putting it in consideration for my next sweater. At least the boys have something to do and they entertain themselves well. Have fun!
