Three on Thursday | Making for Europe.
Yesterday’s Soyokaze finish was the last “official make” I’d planned for our trip. Doesn’t it look great with the tote?of course you do have to imagine it on me … with no pin holding it in place. and for sure a top. and pants.
The tote was a lot of fun to make (even the cutting wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be) and the lining fabric – a Rifle Paper Co print on canvas (purchased at my “local” fabric store – sadly, the shop is a 45 minute drive in good traffic, but still…) – makes me smile every time I see it.
Thanks to those finishes, I felt good about devoting today to Other Things (besides making. and happy to report my pre-trip to-do list has all the boxes checked!)
I did do a little more making last night. Here’s the beginning of a pair of Malabrigo Hand Thingies, using a lovely wool/silk/cashmere skein from my stash.I have a couple of appointments over the next two days (plus more TGBBS!) that should give me plenty of time to finish them before we leave.
So … late this afternoon, once I checked off that last to-do, I turned on the iron, pressed the pre-washed fabric, and cut out another Uniform.
no pressure, right?!
Joining in with Carole and company today … and guessing they all have posts that will make finding three a whole lot easier 😉 Happy Thursday!

That Uniform fabric is to die for! And your tote is just great. I’m thinking I could use a pair of mitts myself…maybe next. Working very hard on remaining monogamous!

I am so impressed you have all the boxes checked and ready to go! I am going away overnight and feel behind the 8ball because of lack of organization! The mitts will be so cute and your outfit is SO chic. Making is the best thing we can ever do. You inspire!
