Waiting and Watching | Week Three.
With all the zeal of the newly converted, “WOW!” or maybe “Whoa, that was fast!”
I took these photos yesterday afternoon – maybe 48 hours after I noticed the first bloom on Christmas Day.
…and then just for fun, this morning I played around with one of them.
I think I like what Waterlogue does with the pictures and the birds even more than the amaryllis.
Happy Wednesday!

I love your white amaryllis! Mine is red and white and very beautiful and then I've got another that is barely out of the starting gate.

My grocery store "rescue" amaryllis is moving much more quickly (will likely bloom today) than the bulbs I planted myself. I'm going to have blooms for months! They're so lovely.

Just beautiful, and you have so many more buds still to open!

Looking great! The Waterlogue is beautiful…very relaxing to look at.

Beautiful! I don't even want to acknowledge that there is an ignored amaryllis in our house. (I'm blaming Doug – he was in charge of the gifting of them.) Maybe this evening I'll take a look at it and see if it can be salvaged!

It's so fun to play with Waterlogue or Prizma. I didn't buy amaryllis for myself this year, but the one I gave a friend looks magnificent.

Very striking blooms – and I would imagine so welcome at this time of year (although I'm not sure what kind of winters you have -it's been a little bleak here)! I'm upset that I didn't purchase some for myself when placing my sister's order – oh well, maybe next time.

Lovely!! Mine are mere babes… I'll be lucky to see them bloom by St. Patrick's Day, I think, but I enjoy checking on them!!

It's just flourishing, isn't it! Your Waterlogue take is very nice too – you never know what it's going to do to a photo …
