Just Life

The last weekend of October really felt more like early September here, but it certainly looked like fall.

I had fun seeing my Saturday and Sunday morning walks through a Prisma filter. These first two are Kathakali

and this one is Mosaic. (and yep, the camellias are starting to bloom!)

There was also a little bit of cooking, which provided me the perfect opportunity to drop in on my favorite little family Friday evening

and again on Sunday morning (when I also got baby snuggles).

There was even some knitting.

One sleeve done! I need to kick Sigla back into full gear – because this next weekend promises to feel like November!

Did it feel like fall where you were this past weekend?

Happy Monday!

We've had a lovely fall — cool, but a bit warmer than normal. I'm good with that! 🙂 So glad you're having such wonderful times with your family — such a special time! XO

Your prisma photos are just beautiful! I really should remember I have that app! LOL And, those boys are so adorable! Here is to successful Sigla knitting for both of us this week!

Love the leaves and camellias (are they supposed to be blooming in October?), reading with the fire chief, and Sam with his eyes open! We hit 80 degrees here yesterday but then had some mighty storms that dropped the temperatures down to the 50s. Back to fall!

We've had a warm Fall in Illinois, it was in the mid 70s all weekend. The lilacs are confused because they have begun to bloom! Love the pictures of your baby boys!

  • Patty

Oh my…look at that Sam! So alert! We had a beautiful day yesterday. Saturday…not so much. The good news…it was the weekend and that's always good!

  • Vera

Such adorable children! Sam is so alert and Charlie is just too cute. Love your pictures – beautiful! Sigla is almost finished! My yarn finally did arrive over the weekend, but I most likely won't even get to cast on till later in the week. Oh well, something to look forward to.

Two cute boys! It's a perfect time of year immerse yourselves in family traditions! Prisma is so very cool (step aside Waterlogue!) and Sigla is going to be fantastic.

Definitely fall weather – except warm on Sunday and the colors glowed. Little Sam is so alert, already! Lucky "little family" to have dinner cooked and delvivered.

Your grandsons are adorable. And you are so lucky they live close. We spent 5 days with our son and his family. Lots of baby snuggles and playing with the two big sisters. It was hard to leave. I left them with a fridge of meals and some freezer meals as well. It must be a mom thing.
