Choosing Peace.
… I’m having a much different journey with my one little word this year. It seems quiet for days and then in the span of just 24 hours, I see it over and over again. Yesterday’s devotion talked about peace.
Seeing this tree on our* morning walk prompted me to share these thoughts (instead of the way less serious post I had planned!). Wishing all of you peace, especially as we begin a new season.
*yes, Holly & I walked this morning! I really appreciate all your kind words and good wishes. She’s on the mend – from who knows what, but the vet didn’t make me feel silly for bringing her in!) He gave her fluids and antibiotics and I’m happy to report she’s eating, wagging her tail, growling (mostly only when appropriate) and generally starting to seem like herself.

So glad that Holly is feeling better; I bet that helps you live a bit more peaceably. Just look at that tree, trying to convince us that fall is coming!

So glad Holly is feeling better! (And . . .just goes to show the multi-layered "power" of one little word!) XO

I'm learning that grace and peace are complicated concepts. So glad Holly is back to her old self, Sophie can relate, she's not sleeping with one eye open anymore!

Thanks for this lovely message. I need to keep this thought in mind as my family embarks on new ventures. My youngest starts her new school tomorrow. Can't believe it's September already! Glad Holly is back to her normal routine!

What a lovely peaceful moment and thank you so much for sharing it with us- makes the connections so much truer. Amazing to see the leaves changing color, already, isn't it! Here's to a September of colorful, peaceful days.
Cheers~
